The Paraguay Initiative
The Paraguay Initiative, is a
scholarship developed and funded
by Vara Home USA and GCB. It is
breaking the cycle of poverty and
designed to elevate women out of
poverty in a developing world by
providing an opportunity for early
childhood education, ultimately
giving women independence. The
scholarship allows children ages 2-5
to attend higher education Preschool,
or Guardaría, while their mothers are
working their 8-hour shifts, Monday
through Friday.
